How do you fade black hair dye from your hair?

December 10th, 2009

It’s permanent home colourant, put in 2 months ago. Has faded to soft black now, but I want it dark brown.
How do I make it fade even more?
thanks x x

Pre lightener but I really would recommend going to a salon because I had the same problem and going to the salon saved me so much time and effort, it looked better too.

How can I FADE a black dress shirt?

December 10th, 2009

I know that everyone tries to prevent fading but in my case I got some really nice black faded jeans, and purchased this cheap black dress shirt in hopes of making it fade. What are some best techniques to fading it?

Its simple:
Soak your BLACK shirt in hot water which has a solution of a strong detergent mixed. After soaking it in water, don’t take out detergent contents from the water and hang it for drying under the hot sun. You may have to repeat this operation on 4-5 occasions and the results will suit your requirement.
Thanks

How can I fade black shirts?

December 10th, 2009

I have a couple black cotton t shirts that are too black. I want to make them look faded and worn. Can I just wash them in bleach water? Sometimes that makes them look brown. Rit makes "color remover" that is supposed to fade clothes. Has anyone tried it or have any other ideas? Thanks

i think the best way to do it without completely destroying the shirt would be to hang it on the clothe line in the sun for a while… if you’re in australia this is quite easy as we have intense sun most days. only draw back it will take maybe a week in the sun to fade but better than chemicals.
